This plant (small shrub) has existed on Earth for more than 200 million years.

This sea buckthorn lives in an extreme and desert mountainous environment, in high mountains of 10,000 to 13,000 feet on sandstone in a pollution-free environment with temperatures above 104 ° F in summer or below – 58 ° F in winter. It has great value for dry regions because it brings ecological and environmental solutions to this altitude.

This buckthorn lives in extreme conditions. It is very rich in active ingredients and its eukaryotic cells contain an excellent quality of Adenosine Trisphosphate (ATP) allowing it to survive in this hostile environment. The constitution of the mitochondrial DNA of this variety of Hippophae Rhamnoides has strengthened over the millennia.

It is widely used in the composition of the traditional Asian pharmacopoeia. It is also recognized in the World Pharmacopoeia for its high content of vitamins A (beta-carotene), C, and E.

It is one of the most effective natural remedies in traditional medicine in Asia against cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

History of medical use of buckthorn

Asians and Native Americans have used it for medical purposes.

1300 years ago, its therapeutic value was noted in the treatise on royal medicine and in the treatise of the “Four Medical Codes” of the Tang Dynasty but also in the “Pearls of Medicinal Herbs” of the Qing Dynasty.

About thirty years ago the Russians translated the “Four Medical Codes” and then the work was translated into more than 20 languages. The sea buckthorn has been researched worldwide for human and animal health.

But the most effective sea buckthorn must be picked up at high altitude, 11.500 to 13.000 feet, and undergo cold, heat, drought to contain active ingredients of high quality.

In 1977 the Minister of Health listed sea buckthorn in the register of the modern pharmacopoeia of China, indicating that Hippophae Rhamnoides has active components in the treatment of lungs, cough, promotes digestion, blood circulation to dissipate stases, relieves lung abscesses, indigestion, abdominal pain, upset stomachs, gastroenteritis, amenorrhea and has a high efficiency for skin regeneration (telomeres + anti-fibrosis), bruises and traumatic lesions.

In 1989, it was recognized by international authorities and according to experts, the air buckthorn has a bio-chemical composition of more than 200 components. The publication of the International Congress on Sea Buckthorn in April 2008 announces 428 active components corresponding to the needs of the human being. They are natural and without side effects: so far, no other plant can be compared because of its multiple components.

In Asia the Sea Buckthorn is known as “the Perfect Plant” and mountain Asians say it is a gift from heaven for humanity. The community of doctors and several scientists in Asia refer to the Sea Buckthorn as “the Golden Plant”.

“Sea Buckthorn is at the top of the elements for natural vitality, it transmits to us the strongest genes of nature, the vital principles it contains in its composition cannot be obtained by our most advanced modern technologies in the world. The Sea Buckthorn leaves behind all the technologies and sciences at the forefront of the contemporary chemical world! “

Former Soviet Medical Doctor Boris Avakumov:

“The Sea Buckthorn has a very rich composition and rarely observable in the plant field, nature has managed to concentrate a set of complete beneficial substances in a single plant. It’s truly miraculous!”

Sea buckthorn extract boosts the percentage of T cells in lymph nodes, improves interferon production and strengthens the entire immune system.

By helping to reduce fats in blood, flavonoids increase heart muscle resistance and prevent arrhythmia. This oil, rich in vitamins A, C and E, has an anti-aging action by reducing free radicals, and contributes to the regeneration of skin and body tissues (liver, kidneys, stomach, pancreas, etc.).
